Moving Westward...

Apologies for the long hiatus in blogger land. Really, our lives have not been all that blog-worthy, but we do have some big news to share -> We are moving to San Francisco! After seven wonderful years in New York City we are headed to the city by the bay :) Greg will be starting up a new job in consulting working for Booz and Co. in mid October and I will be attending graduate nursing school at the University of California San Francisco with the goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. School will keep me busy 1-2 days a week, but I also will be working part time at a family practice in Oakland. Today is my last day in New York....we are then headed to St Michaels for the weekend to celebrate the life of a great man - Bert Collison (greg's grandfather) who recently passed away...and then off to California on Monday September 20th! We found a new apartment last month in the Rockridge neighborhood in Oakland which we are excited about. Below are some pics of the new place to share (w/ all the previous tenant's stuff). We are excited to make it our new "home" and will be posting home improvement updates as we go - first step is painting! We are also excited to explore a new place together and welcome visitors anytime!
