Hola mis amigos y familia!!As some of you know, I am headed for La, Paz Bolivia on Friday June 5th for a month to participate in a nursing internship program in pediatrics with an organization called Child and Family Health International (www.cfhi.org). As part of the program, I will be providing nursing care for children and their families at several hospitals and clinics as well as taking Spanish language classes at Centro Boliviano Americano.
As you can tell from the map, Bolivia is land-locked country bordering Brazil, Peru, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay and one of the poorest and underdeveloped countries in Latin America. La Paz is the capital with a population just over 1 million.
I hope to update our blog with stories and pictures from my experiences. I'm sure Greg will keep us updated on b-school and summer living in NYC too -- so stay tuned!

Our best friends have been teaching in Cochabamba, Bolivia for the last year! They're home for then next month...otherwise it would have been so fun to connect you! Anyway, heard many stories of life there. Love you and praying for you on your trip!
